It helps to keep tabs on the stupid people when they mark their territory like that.

I find it very entertaining. You would think that by now the birther insanity would be a thing of the past. What amazes me is that instead of conservatives downplaying the lunatics who continue to embarrass their party, they shine a light on them. Oh look, there's another one of our own doing his very best to make the rest of us, by association, look like complete idiots. Thanks Mr. Birther, you do us proud!

Jmark guilt by associations – brush up on fallacies and maybe you can finally debate!

Nothing fallacious about it Jimmer. The birthers strongly identify with the the conservative party. It would be one thing if these wackos were just some far right radical fringe group, but they're not. The town hall video I link to clearly indicates that these loons are representative of the party's base constituency.

And then you have the de facto leader of the Republican Party willingly sustaining the lunacy:

"What do God and Barack Obama have in common? God doesn't have a birth certificate either"
Rush Limbaugh

Sorry Republicans, these are your homeys. Like it or not, there's no disassociating with them now. And continually spotlighting them only serves to further weaken your party's credibility.
