Large crowds visited members of Congress Thursday to voice opposition to break the bank government health care.
Thousands of people from across the country attend a news conference and rally to protest the health care bill on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol November 5, 2009 in Washington, DC. Most Republican members of the House of Representatives led by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) attended the rally to voice their opposition to the House version of the health care reform legislation moving through Congress. (Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

As one reader commented to the above, “Now you know how you will be treated when you dispute a health insurance claim under a Government run Health Insurance Plan.”

"A conservative Republican House member, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested that Bachmann’s views — and her willingness to state them — make it hard for her to keep staff.
“When your captain’s crazy, it’s time to find a new ship,” the lawmaker said."

jmark,

Is that the best you've got ... for leadership? For Republicans to stand a chance at regaining the White House they need to start distancing themselves from the crazies who only serve to marginalize their party. Bachmann is the gift that keeps on giving ... to the Democrats.
"The tea party activists rallying in Washington today at Michele Bachmann’s invitation may not know it, but they’re one of Nancy Pelosi’s and Barack Obama’s greatest assets."

Dear buck,
If this is the first time you've heard Bachmann's name perhaps you should do more reading and less posting.

I wish I had more time to read, but I'm no longer in the union and I'm not a Gov't worker. I do atleast 2 newspapers a day and try and fit in the WSJ a couple times a week. I will try and keep up on these right wing fanatics though.
