Information on DNR hearings related to extending the Gun Deer Season

The Earn A Buck Committee comprised of hunting and conservation groups is against the earlier season start, as it is proposed...and suggests hunters register 'no' on that plan and then request instead:

1. We retain the traditional opening date of the gun season and tack the extra seven days onto the back of the current season, instead.

2. Support elimination of the proposed Holiday Hunt

3. Support a proposal to have the DNR issue free Herd Control Tags for two years in a zone before other Herd Control measures were implemented.
