"What Joe really meant to say..." should become a bumper sticker for liberals everywhere.
Whenever the Obama Administration allows Biden out of the White House basement for some fresh air, it seems he makes a fool of himself. A complete idiot. (Oh, but remember how stupid and unqualified we were told Sarah Palin was for the position of VP? A heartbeat away from the presidency! - what horrible things would have happened if Palin ever had to take over for McCain! Yet, Biden is somehow....better???? Too funny.)
The most recent Joe-ism occurred on Sunday, July 5th:
"Israel can determine for itself - it's a sovereign nation - what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else." - VP Joe Biden, appearing on ABC's "This Week"
Well, it appears that Biden's words were too harsh for the current president. Biden was, in essence, implying that the United States would stand aside if Israel wanted to attack Iran. Obama had to clarify what Joe REALLY meant to say:
"Biden was merely stating a categorical fact, which is that we can't dictate to other countries what their security interests are." - President Obama translating for Biden during a CNN interview on July 7th, 2009
During the current swine flu epidemic, Biden appeared on "The Today Show" and made the following statement:
"I would tell members of my family - and I have - I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now. It's not that it's going to Mexico. It's you're in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft." - VP Joe Biden, April 30 2009
Again, the Obama Administration had to interpret for us all what Joe REALLY meant:
"What the Vice President "meant to say" was that if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms you should avoid travel." - Robert Gibbs, May 2009 at White House Press Briefing
Just as there were obvious clues during the presidential campaign that Obama was unqualified to be president, there were many red flags pointing to the incompetence of Joe Biden. For whatever reason, the voters decided to ignore the warning signs and elected these two clowns into office. And America is currently paying the price. Let's go back to the campaign for more "Joe-isms":
Remember how Joe Biden directly contradicted Obama's stance on "Clean Coal?"
"We're not supporting clean coal." - VP Joe Biden, September 2008
On Obama's website was the following:
"Develop and deploy clean coal technology." - Obama website campaign pledge
And who can forget Obama publicly rebuking Biden's statement regarding the AIG bailouts? Here's what Biden had to say on the subject:
"No, no. The federal government should not bail out AIG." - VP Candidate Joe Biden, September 2008
Obama was asked later by Matt Lauer on the "Today Show" why Biden expressed the same views on an AIG bailout that John McCain had:
"And I think that, in that situation, Joe should have waited as well." - Presidential Candidate Barack Obama on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, September 23, 2008
And now the American people are hearing from VP Biden how the Obama Administration ""misread" the economy and didn't know it was really this bad." "Misread" seems to have become the new spin word for "made a big mistake" (only this time it cannot be blamed on Bush, darn!)... Biden was referring to how the stimulus money has done nothing to "stimulate" anything. It's been a lead balloon. Trillions of dollars wasted. No new jobs. No economic turnaround. And actually, job losses are even worse than before. There is even talk of another stimulus package being enacted!- which should frighten any hardworking, taxpaying citizen. Remember, the government doesn't "create' money - it gets it's money from us - the taxpayers. And how many times do Obama & Co. think they can go to the well before it dries up? We are already approaching that point - and beyond. Future generations are going to be saddled with massive debt if nothing is done to stop this spending madness. Maybe the entire United States will soon end up like California - bankrupt.
Do you ever get the feeling that the lights are on at the White House but no one is home? That the current president, vice-president, and administration have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing? And has Hillary Clinton been banished to the White House basement with Joe Biden? Clinton has all but disappeared from the Obama political scene...
I'll end my post with a few of my personal favorite "Joe-ism's" (just keep saying to yourselves what a great pick this guy was compared to....Sarah Palin! And find comfort in the fact that Joe Biden - yes, Joe Biden, is just a "heartbeat away from the presidency").
"Look, John's last minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J - O - B- S, jobs." - VP Candidate Joe Biden, October 15, 2008
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, "look, here's what happened." - Joe Biden, in an interview with Katie Couric, September 22, 2008 (Couric neglected to tell Biden that FDR wasn't president in 1929 and the public didn't have televisions yet...)
"Stand up, Chuck, let'em see ya." - Joe Biden, to Missouri state Senator Chuck Graham, who is confined to a wheelchair, September 12, 2008
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." - Joe Biden, at the start of the 2008 Democratic primary campaign, January 31, 2007
"You know, I'm embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?" - VP Joe Biden, encouraging "Early Show" viewers to visit a government-run web site that tracks stimulus spending, February 25, 2009
Remember, former Vice-President Dan Quayle's political career ended because he misspelled the word "potato". But that's to be expected. Quayle was a Republican.

Maybe we can get Joe to slip up again and tell us where the Stimulus money is. Only $734 Billion is unaccounted for. Isn't that about twice the Bush deficit that was so horrible the Libs were shitting themselves?

Ah, but that was Bush! Bush was evil! A $734 billion dollar mystery is no problem, with Obama as president! There's gotta be an explanation somewhere - quick, get out the teleprompter!
Oh, and last I heard, Obama & Co. will be spending $18 million in taxpayer dollars to update their Obama web site. There will be no outrage - it's Obama - it's OK.
