Overheard on Mark Belling's WISN radio show: (McCain could use this as an opening line in tonight's final presidential debate!):
What do Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden have in common?
"Both have friends that tried to blow up the Pentagon."
Cheap shot? Smear? NO. It's the truth.
Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dorhn - two modern day terrorists who built bombs and killed people as members of the Weathermen, (Dorhn actually served time in prison) helped their friend and neighbor Barack Obama launch his political career. They held a political meet-and-greet in their own living room for Obama. They have contributed money to Obama. Over the years, Obama and Ayers have served on numerous boards together. They have a long history of being friendly. Ayers has been rumored to have even ghost written Obama's book "Dreams From My Father".
Yet, lefties always try to defend Ayers. Why? They'll say: "Ayers is a professor! He's a community organizer! An upstanding citizen!" Well, no. Even though his crimes happened years ago, there is a problem. It is easy to forgive people if they express remorse. If they apologize. If they are repentant. Ayers has not expressed remorse, apologized or appeared repentant. Quite the opposite. Check out Ayers past and present history: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxoiZdBSi-g To this day, Ayers wishes he could have bombed more. He was glad that 9/11 happened.
So, it is true. Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden both have friends that tried to bomb the pentagon. Seven plus years after 9/11, do we need a president in the White House who pals with terrorists? Who have an anti-American agenda? How safe will our country be?

"What do Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden have in common?"
I said it before. John McCain doesn't have a plan that can beat either one.

Where were the conservatives wailing about Ayers before Obama came along?
